They will pass through the land,[7] greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against[8] their king and their God, and turn their faces upward.

On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.

And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said, "This trouble is from the LORD! Why should I wait for the LORD any longer?"

But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face."
