Is anything too hard[4] for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."

Who is this who comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save."

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Why should you be like a man confused, like a mighty warrior who cannot save? Yet you, O LORD, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; do not leave us."

'Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who has made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.

Therefore I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them."

Should this be said, O house of Jacob? Has the LORD grown impatient?[2] Are these his deeds? Do not my words do good to him who walks uprightly?

And the LORD said to Moses, "Is the LORD's hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not."

For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost[2] those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

And when the troops came to the camp, the elders of Israel said, "Why has the LORD defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD here from Shiloh, that it may come among us and save us from the power of our enemies."

And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day."
