But the LORD was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and he turned toward them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.

What do you plot against the LORD? He will make a complete end; trouble will not rise up a second time.

who through the mouth of our father David, your servant,[3] said by the Holy Spirit, " 'Why did the Gentiles rage, and the peoples plot in vain?

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
