You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse, and the Lord GOD will put you to death, but his servants he will call by another name.

I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they."

This is what I mean, brothers: the appointed time has grown very short. From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none,

Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.[1]

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,
