Genesis 50:17

'Say to Joseph, Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.' And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father." Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

by the God of your father who will help you, by the Almighty[8] who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that crouches beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart."

And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[6] you did it to me.'

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And when the ten heard it, they began to be indignant at James and John.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.[2]
