It is in my power to do you harm. But the God of your[2] father spoke to me last night, saying, 'Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.'

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, "The thing has come from the LORD; we cannot speak to you bad or good.

Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day.

As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, "O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?"

I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end.

Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand.

And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And he said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
