And Leah said, "Happy am I! For women have called me happy." So she called his name Asher.[7]
for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
My dove, my perfect one, is the only one, the only one of her mother, pure to her who bore her. The young women saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines also, and they praised her.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
"Asher's food shall be rich, and he shall yield royal delicacies.
The sons of Zilpah, Leah's servant: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram.
The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, with Serah their sister. And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.
Leah's servant Zilpah bore Jacob a second son.
