"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

"You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever utters slander is a fool.

Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.

A man who bears false witness against his neighbor is like a war club, or a sword, or a sharp arrow.

"You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.

You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life[1] of your neighbor: I am the LORD.

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

He said to him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

and they set up false witnesses who said, "This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law,

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers,[2] liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound[3] doctrine,

heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,

Do not speak evil against one another, brothers.[3] The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
