"Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; hold not your peace at my tears! For I am a sojourner with you, a guest, like all my fathers.

She gave birth to a son, and he called his name Gershom, for he said, "I have been a sojourner[4] in a foreign land."

So Moses took his wife and his sons and had them ride on a donkey, and went back to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the staff of God in his hand.

And the people of Dan set up the carved image for themselves, and Jonathan the son of Gershom, son of Moses,[3] and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land.
