And the LORD turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea. Not a single locust was left in all the country of Egypt.

"I will remove the northerner far from you, and drive him into a parched and desolate land, his vanguard[2] into the eastern sea, and his rear guard[3] into the western sea; the stench and foul smell of him will rise, for he has done great things.

By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as if on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.
