He said, "Behold, it is still high day; it is not time for the livestock to be gathered together. Water the sheep and go, pasture them."

they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.

Give a portion to seven, or even to eight, for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

I think that in view of the present[7] distress it is good for a person to remain as he is.

who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

Conduct yourselves wisely[2] toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.
