And he said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying,

(for they are your people, and your heritage, which you brought out of Egypt, from the midst of the iron furnace).

They are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand.

Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;[1] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage;

with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever;

Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.

You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, if you hear his voice,

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine;

Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. Consider too that this nation is your people."

And he said, "If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us, for it is a stiff-necked people, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance."

Say therefore to the people of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.

In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush,[1] from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.

We have become like those over whom you have never ruled, like those who are not called by your name.

But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

"It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.

But the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.

But the LORD has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be a people of his own inheritance, as you are this day.

Or has any god ever attempted to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, and by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great deeds of terror, all of which the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Then the LORD said to me, 'Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you have brought from Egypt have acted corruptly. They have turned aside quickly out of the way that I commanded them; they have made themselves a metal image.'

And I prayed to the LORD, 'O Lord GOD, destroy not your people and your heritage, whom you have redeemed through your greatness, whom you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
