Deuteronomy 26:15

Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the ground that you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.'

"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

hear in heaven your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house that I have built is called by your name.

Then the priests and the Levites arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to his holy habitation in heaven.

Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.

Do good to Zion in your good pleasure; build up the walls of Jerusalem;

Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.

Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine,

the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.

Let the favor[4] of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor;[1] he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;[2]

Look down from heaven and see, from your holy and beautiful[5] habitation. Where are your zeal and your might? The stirring of your inner parts and your compassion are held back from me.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Once more they shall use these words in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I restore their fortunes: " 'The LORD bless you, O habitation of righteousness, O holy hill!'

Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.[1]

" 'Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest?

See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.'

I have not eaten of the tithe while I was mourning, or removed any of it while I was unclean, or offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the voice of the LORD my God. I have done according to all that you have commanded me.

Then we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers, and the LORD heard our voice and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.

And he brought us into this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
