Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.

That is why I sent[2] you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ,[3] as I teach them everywhere in every church.

And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle,[3] encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.

comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
