Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Here I am, Lord."

And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and defeated them and pursued them to Hobah, north of Damascus.

After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here am I."

Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, 'Jacob,' and I said, 'Here I am!'

But if he says, 'I have no pleasure in you,' behold, here I am, let him do to me what seems good to him."

When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

And he said, "Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.

About the ninth hour of the day[1] he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, "Cornelius."

"I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, something like a great sheet descending, being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to me.

And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

And when Paul[3] had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us."

And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, "Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent,

" 'And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

"And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who lived there,

and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight."

And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

At Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to seize me,

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.

Then the LORD called Samuel, and he said, "Here I am!"
