for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard."

And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants[5] to continue to speak your word with all boldness,

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus.

Philip went down to the city[1] of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ.

And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, "He is the Son of God."

For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

was pleased to reveal his Son to[5] me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;[6]

But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which[2] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
