Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved."

(We were in all 276[6] persons in the ship.)

The soldiers' plan was to kill the prisoners, lest any should swim away and escape.

and the rest on planks or on pieces of the ship. And so it was that all were brought safely to land.

But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

At the same time, prepare a guest room for me, for I am hoping that through your prayers I will be graciously given to you.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.[2]

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last,
