it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,

with the following letter: "The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers[3] who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings.

Also provide mounts for Paul to ride and bring him safely to Felix the governor."

And he wrote a letter to this effect:

When they had come to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they presented Paul also before him.

in every way and everywhere we accept this with all gratitude.

But Paul said, "I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus, but I am speaking true and rational words.
