"Thus says the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the LORD all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word.

Jeremiah the prophet said to them, "I have heard you. Behold, I will pray to the LORD your God according to your request, and whatever the LORD answers you I will tell you. I will keep nothing back from you."

He did not speak to them without a parable, but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,

for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish everyone with tears.

and with his wife's knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles' feet.

And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Now, brothers,[1] if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,

See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

Finally, my brothers,[1] rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you.

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
