Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

But some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved."

not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view than mine, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.

I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified[1] by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God[1] not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.
