And behold, a leper[1] came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean."

they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed.

but his mother answered, "No; he shall be called John."

The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?

And there came a voice to him: "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."

And he said to them, "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean.

And I answered, 'Who are you, Lord?' And he said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.'

And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And he said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
