For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers[1] came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said,

it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
