I believe[6] that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living!

On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

But you say, 'What a weariness this is,' and you snort at it, says the LORD of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the LORD.

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.

to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;

When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God,[1] we do not lose heart.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.

And the officers shall speak further to the people, and say, 'Is there any man who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go back to his house, lest he make the heart of his fellows melt like his own.'

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,

Finally, then, brothers,[1] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to live[2] and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.

Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.

I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary.
