with the purified you deal purely, and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

"Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?' or 'Your work has no handles'?
But those who turn aside to their crooked ways the LORD will lead away with evildoers! Peace be upon Israel!
Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods, because in this affair they dealt arrogantly with the people."[4]
And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
