You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.

For we share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits[1] of the world, and not according to Christ.
