The hand of God was also on Judah to give them one heart to do what the king and the princes commanded by the word of the LORD.

who sets his heart to seek God, the LORD, the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary's rules of cleanness."[1]

He also restored the altar of the LORD and offered on it sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and he commanded Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel.

Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the chambers, and I brought back there the vessels of the house of God, with the grain offering and the frankincense.

With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!

For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: "Seek me and live;

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

And I declare to him that I am about to punish his house forever, for the iniquity that he knew, because his sons were blaspheming God,[1] and he did not restrain them.
