2 Chronicles 13:9

Have you not driven out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made priests for yourselves like the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes for ordination[3] with a young bull or seven rams becomes a priest of what are no gods.

After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made priests for the high places again from among all the people. Any who would, he ordained to be priests of the high places.

And Moses said, "Today you have been ordained for the service of the LORD, each one at the cost of his son and of his brother, so that he might bestow a blessing upon you this day."

Has a nation changed its gods, even though they are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

"How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me and have sworn by those who are no gods. When I fed them to the full, they committed adultery and trooped to the houses of whores.

For it is from Israel; a craftsman made it; it is not God. The calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces.[2]

And the priest who is anointed and consecrated as priest in his father's place shall make atonement, wearing the holy linen garments.

And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a great many people, saying that gods made with hands are not gods.

Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods.

They sacrificed to demons that were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come recently, whom your fathers had never dreaded.
