Afterward David also arose and went out of the cave, and called after Saul, "My lord the king!" And when Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the earth and paid homage.

Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him,

Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground and paid homage to the king and said, "May my lord King David live forever!"

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

And as soon as the boy had gone, David rose from beside the stone heap[6] and fell on his face to the ground and bowed three times. And they kissed one another and wept with one another, David weeping the most.

So David persuaded his men with these words and did not permit them to attack Saul. And Saul rose up and left the cave and went on his way.

And David said to Saul, "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, 'Behold, David seeks your harm'?

Saul recognized David's voice and said, "Is this your voice, my son David?" And David said, "It is my voice, my lord, O king."

He said to her, "What is his appearance?" And she said, "An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe." And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage.
