1 Kings 8:1

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the people of Israel, before King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Sing praises to the LORD, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!

therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am the one who has laid[3] as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: 'Whoever believes will not be in haste.'

I bring near my righteousness; it is not far off, and my salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory."

And there shall be with you a man from each tribe, each man being the head of the house of his fathers.

Joshua summoned all Israel, its elders and heads, its judges and officers, and said to them, "I am now old and well advanced in years.

Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and summoned the elders, the heads, the judges, and the officers of Israel. And they presented themselves before God.

For it stands in Scripture: "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."
