O God! Hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth;

Because, the eyes of the Lord, are towards the righteous, and his ears, unto their supplication,—Whereas, the face of the Lord, is against them that are doing mischievous things.

The words of my mouth, and the soft utterance of my heart, shall come with acceptance, before thee, O Yahweh, my Rock and my Redeemer!

To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. Hear, O God, my voice when I complain, From dread peril by the foe, wilt thou guard my life.

In the selfsame way moreover, even the Spirit, helpeth together in our weakness,—for, what we should pray for as we ought, we know not, but, the Spirit itself, maketh intercession with sighings unutterable,
