Then shall ye bring near as an ascending-sacrifice—an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh,—thirteen choice bullocks two rams,—fourteen he-lambs a year old without defect, shall they be;

And Jeroboam made a festival in the eight month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the festival which was held in Judah, and offered up on the altar, likewise, did he in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves which he had made,—and he kept in attendance in Bethel, the priests of the high-places which he had made.

And they kept the festival of booths, as it was written,—and the ascending-offering of each day upon its own day, by number, according to regulation, the matter of a day upon its day;

On the first day—a holy convocation, shall there be to you: no laborious work, shall ye do.

And on the eighth day, a closing feast shall there be unto you, no laborious work, shall ye do;
