And ye have quite forgotten the exhortation which, indeed, with you as with sons, doth reason:—My son! be not slighting the discipline of the Lord, neither be fainting, when by him, thou art reproved;
For not age-abidingly, will I contend, Nor perpetually, will I be wroth,—For, spirit, before me, would faint, Even the breathing souls, which, I, had made.
Then said I—Woe to me!—for I am undone, Because a man of unclean lips, am, I, And in the midst of a people of unclean lips, do I dwell,—For the King. Yahweh of hosts, have mine eyes seen!
so shall it prove to be unto him and unto his seed after him, the covenant of our age-abiding priesthood, because he was jealous for his God, and did put a propitiatory-covering over the sons of Israel.
