Be openly confessing, therefore, one to another, your sins, and be praying in each other’s behalf,—that ye may be healed. Much availeth, the supplication of a righteous man, when it is energised:

Then would he have bidden to destroy them,—had not Moses his chosen, stood in the breach before him, To turn back his wrath from destroying.

O Yahweh our God! thou, answeredst them,—A pardoning GOD, thou becamest to them, Yet one bringing vengeance on their deeds.

Thus, saith Yahweh,—There hath found favour in the desert people escaped from the sword,—I must go to cause him, even Israel, to rest.

And Moses said to Pharaoh—Explain thyself unto me: For what time, shall I make entreaty for thee and for thy servants and for thy people, to cause the frogs to be cut off, from thee and from thy houses,—only in the river, shall they remain?

So then Yahweh was grieved,—over the calamity—which he had spoken of inflicting on his people.
