Numbers 10:29

Then said Moses to Hobab, son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses: Setting forward, are we unto the place of which Yahweh hath said, The same, will I give unto you,—Oh come with us and we will do thee good, for, Yahweh, hath spoken good, concerning Israel.

And Yahweh appeared unto Abram, and said: To thy seed, will I give this land,—And he built there an altar, unto Yahweh who appeared unto him.

Now, Heber the Kenite, had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the sons of Hobab, father-in-law of Moses,—and moved his tent as far as the oak of Zaanaim, which is near Kadesh.

Now, Moses, was shepherding the flock of Jethro his father-in-law priest of Midian,—so he led forth the flock behind the desert, and came in unto the mountain of God to Horeb.

Then came they in unto Reuel their father,—and he said, Wherefore have ye so early come in to-day?

But, thou thyself, saidst,—I wilt deal well with thee. So will I make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which is not to be counted, for multitude.

And, the Spirit and the Bride, say—Come! and, he that heareth, let him say—Come! and, he that is athirst, let him come,—he that will, let him take of the water of life, freely.

In order that, through means of two unchangeable things, in which it was impossible for God to make himself false, a mighty consolation, we might have, who have fled along to grasp, the fore-lying hope,

In hope of life age-abiding; which God, who cannot lie, promised before age-during times,

And gave him no inheritance therein, not even a place to set his foot on; and yet promised to give it unto him in possession, and unto his seed after him, when as yet he had not a child.

To Zion, shall they ask the way, Hitherward, their faces, Come and let us join ourselves unto Yahweh, In a covenant age-abiding, which shall not be forgotten.

And many peoples shall go and say—Come ye, and let us ascend Unto the mountain of Yahweh Unto the house of the God of Jacob, That he may teach us of his ways, And we may walk in his paths,—For, out of Zion, shall go forth a law, And the word of Yahweh out of Jerusalem;

Oh taste and see, that good is Yahweh,—How happy the man who seeketh refuge in him!

Then said Saul unto the Kenites—Go, depart, get you down out of the midst of the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them, yet, ye, dealt in lovingkindness, with all the sons of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed out of the midst of the Amalekites.

Now, the sons of the Kenite, father-in-law of Moses, had come up from the city of palm-trees, with the sons of Judah, into the wilderness of Judah, which is in the south of Arad,—so they went and dwelt with the people.

GOD is, not a man, that he should lie, Nor a son of Adam, that he should repent,—Hath, he, said, and will not perform? Yea spoken, and will not make it stand fast?

And Moses sent forth his father-in-law,—and he went his way by himself unto his own land.

And Jethro, priest of Midian, father-in-law of Moses, heard all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people,—in that Yahweh had brought forth Israel out of Egypt.

therefore have I come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians, and to take them up out of that land, into a land good and large, into a land flowing with milk and honey,—into the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite, and the Amorite and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

In that day, did Yahweh solemnise with Abram a covenant, saying,—To thy seed, have I given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river—the river Euphrates:

for all the land which thou art beholding—to thee, will I give it, and to thy seed unto times age-abiding;

Moreover also I established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan,—even the land of their sojournings wherein they sojourned.

Then took Jethro father-in-law of Moses, an ascending-offering and sacrifices to God,—and Aaron and all the elders of Israel came in to eat bread with the father-in-law of Moses before God.

These, were the settings-forward of the sons of Israel by their hosts,—thus did they set forward.

So shalt thou keep his statutes and his commandments which, I, am commanding thee to-day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy sons after thee,—and to the end thou mayest prolong thy days upon the soil, which Yahweh thy God, is giving thee, all the days.

and Yahweh thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it,—and he will do thee good and multiply thee beyond thy fathers.

Come, let us make a joyful noise to Yahweh, Let us shout in triumph, to the rock of our salvation!

A Melody for Thanksgiving. Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth:

And I will give to thee and to thy seed after thee the land of thy sojournings—all the land of Canaan, for an age-abiding possession—And I will be to them a God.

And Moses was well-pleased to dwell with the man,—and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.
