A wicked and adulterous generation, a sign, doth seek after, and, a sign, will not be given it,—save the sign of Jonah. And, leaving them behind, he departed.
For, whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also, will be ashamed, of him, whensoever he shall come, in the glory of his Father, with the holy messengers.
And, deeply sighing in his spirit, he saith—Why, doth this generation seek, a sign? Verily, I say—there shall, not be given, to this generation, a sign.
But, as they began opposing and defaming, shaking out his garments, he said unto them—Your blood, be upon your own head! Pure, am, I: henceforth, unto the nations, will I go.
Yea, though they rear their children, yet will I make them childless, till there be no human being,—for it is, nothing less than woe, to them when I depart from them!
