For this reason, in parables, unto them, do I speak,—because, seeing, they see not, and, hearing, they hear not,—neither do they understand.
Son of man. In the midst of a perverse house, dost thou dwell,— Who have eyes to see—and have not seen. Ears have they to hear—and have no heard, For a perverse house, they are.
Hear this, I pray you ye people—foolish and without heart,—Eyes, have they, and see not, Ears, have they, and hear not!
But happy are, your, eyes, that they see, and your ears, that they hear;
They have not taken note, neither can they perceive,—He hath besmeared—past seeing—their eyes, Past understanding, their hearts;
Then said I, Ah! My Lord Yahweh: They are saying of me, Is not he a putter forth of parables?
Even as it is written—God hath given unto them a spirit of stupor,—eyes not to see, and ears not to hear,—until this very day;
