but, without a parable, was he not speaking unto them,—privately, however, unto his own disciples, was he explaining all things.

And, when they drew near unto Jerusalem, and came unto Bethphage, unto the Mount of Olives, then, Jesus sent forth two disciples;

And he taketh Peter and James and John with him, and began to be exceedingly amazed, and in great distress;

And there come near unto him, James and John, the two sons of Zebedee,—saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.

And, after six days, Jesus taketh with him Peter and James and John, and bringeth them up into a high mountain, apart, alone,—and he was transformed before them;

And he suffered no one to follow with him, save Peter and James and John the brother of James.

And, as he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him, privately, saying—Tell us, when these things shall be,—and what the sign of thy presence, and the conclusion of the age.

And, after six days, Jesus taketh with him, Peter and James and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain, apart;

Then, dismissing the multitudes, he went into the house, and his disciples came near to him, saying—Make quite plain to us the parable of the darnel of the field.

And the disciples, coming near, said to him, Wherefore, in parables, art thou speaking to them?

Tell us, When, these things, shall be, and, what the sign, when all these things shall be about to be concluded.
