And Pilate, being minded to do what would satisfy, the multitude, released unto them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, having scourged him, that he should be crucified.

So they cried aloud again, saying—Not this man, but Barabbas! Now, Barabbas, was, a robber.

But, they, began to be urgent, saying—He is stirring up the people, teaching along all Judaea, even beginning from Galilee unto this place.

And, Pilate, consented, that their request should be granted;

And, as they led him away, they laid hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from the country,—they laid on him the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

Then, therefore, he delivered him up unto them, that he might be crucified. They took possession, therefore, of Jesus.

and the king said unto Haman, The silver, is granted thee,—and the people, to do with them, as may seem good in thine eyes.
