Then spake the sons of Joseph unto Joshua, saying,—Why hast thou given me, as an inheritance, but one lot and one portion, seeing that, I, am a numerous people, because hitherto hath Yahweh blessed me.

For the large one, thou shalt make large his inheritance, and for the small one, thou shalt make small his inheritance,—unto each one, in proportion to them who were numbered of him, shall he given his inheritance.

Unto men from among the families of the son of Manasseh son of Joseph, became they wives,—and so their inheritance remained with the tribe of the family of their father.
