Do not boast thyself of to-morrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Unseemly, is your boast! Know ye not that, a little leaven, doth leaven, the whole of the lump?

Lo! the man who made not God his refuge,—But trusted in the abundance of his riches, Emboldened himself in his wealth!

Clouds and wind, when rain there is none, is the man who boasteth himself of a pretended gift.

As much as she glorified herself, and waxed wanton, so much give, unto her, torment and grief:—because, in her heart, she saith—I sit a Queen, and, widow, am I not, and, grief, in nowise shall I see!

But, if, bitter jealousy, ye have, and rivalry, in your hearts; be not boasting and showing yourselves false against the truth!

And so thou didst trust in thy wickedness, Thou saidst, no one, seeth me, Thy wisdom and knowledge, the same, seduced thee,—Therefore saidst thou in thy heart, I am , and there is no one besides.
