As, Sarah, was obedient unto Abraham, calling him, lord,—whose children ye have become—so long as ye are doing good, and not bringing yourselves into fear of any single cause of alarm.

Then answered Isaac and said to Esau,—Lo a lord, have I appointed him unto thee, And, all his brethren, lave I given to him as servants, And with corn and new wine, have I sustained him,—And for thee—now, what can I do, my son?

Let peoples serve thee And races bow down to thee, Become thou lord to thy brethren, And let the sons of thy mother bow down to thee,—He that curseth thee, be accursed! And he that blesseth thee, be blessed!

Hear us, my lord! A prince of God, art thou in our midst, In the choice of our buryingplaces, bury thy dead,—Not, a man from among us his, burying-place, will withhold from thee, from burying thy dead.

So Esau dwelt in Mount Seir, Esau, is Edom.

And, these, are the generations of Esau father of Edom,—in Mount Seir.

O Yahweh! When thou didst come forth out of Seir, When thou didst march along out of the field of Edom, Earth, trembled, Heaven also, poured forth,—Yea, dark clouds, poured forth waters;
