And, on an appointed day, Herod, putting on royal apparel, and seating himself upon the tribunal, proceeded to deliver an oration unto them.

Captain of fifty, and favourite; And counsellor and skilled artificer, And master of magical formulas;

and the others, entering into Caesarea, and delivering the letter unto the governor, set, Paul also, before him.

And, when he was called, Tertullus began to make accusation, saying—Seeing that, great peace, we are obtaining through thee, and that, reforms, are being brought about for this nation through thy forethought,
