In my distress, called I on Yahweh, Yea, unto my God, did I call,—and he hearkened, out of his temple, unto my voice, and, my cry for help, was in his ears!
In my distress, called I on Yahweh, And, unto my God, made outcry for help, He heard, out of his temple, my voice, And my outcry for help came before him—entered into his ears!
Then said Yahweh, I have, seen, the humiliation of my people, who are in Egypt,—and their outcry, have I heard, by reason of their task-masters, for I know their pains;
One thing, have I asked of Yahweh, That, will I seek to secure,—That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh, all the days of my life, To view the delightfulness of Yahweh, And to contemplate in his temple.
Lo, the wage of the workers who have out down your fields—that which hath been kept back, by you, is crying out; and, the outcries of them who reaped, into the ears of the Lord of hosts, have entered:
