Then the king departed to his palace, and spent the night fasting, and no, table, was brought in before him,—and, his sleep, fled from him.

Then Joshua rent his clothes and fell upon his face to the earth before the ark of Yahweh until the evening, he and the elders of Israel,—and they lifted up dust upon their heads.

So I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek him by prayer, and supplication,—with fasting, and sackcloth and ashes;
