Turn again, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that rejoice at mine hurt: Let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
Hold them guilty, O God; Let them fall by their own counsels: Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions; For they have rebelled against thee.
But the LORD is with me as a mighty one and a terrible: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonour which shall never be forgotten.
When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.
