I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thy judgements.
They that fear thee shall see me and be glad; Because I have hoped in thy word.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: But I hope in thy word.
For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.
Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the day-time, And in the night his song shall be with me, Even a prayer unto the God of my life.
O LORD, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch.
In God I will praise his word: In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me?
Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.
But unto thee, O LORD, have I cried, And in the morning shall my prayer come before thee.
Let my prayer enter into thy presence; Incline thine ear unto my cry:
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed.
