For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right:
Although thou knowest that I am not wicked; And there is none that can deliver out of thine hand?
For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, And I am clean in thine eyes.
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I am righteous.
Although there is no violence in mine hands, And my prayer is pure.
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry for help, but there is no judgement
As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: My justice was as a robe and a diadem.
So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
I am clean, without transgression; I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me:
Let us choose for us that which is right: Let us know among ourselves what is good.
Return, I pray you, let there be no injustice; Yea, return again, my cause is righteous.
Doth God pervert judgement? Or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgement is passed away from my God?
