Withdraw thine hand far from me; And let not thy terror make me afraid.
Are not my days few? cease then, And let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
Shall not his excellency make you afraid, And his dread fall upon you?
Only do not two things unto me, Then will I not hide myself from thy face:
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, Neither shall my pressure be heavy upon thee
Let him take his rod away from me, And let not his terror make me afraid:
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgements. ע AIN
Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not he profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them forth.
