Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub;

The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Koran his son, Assir his son;

and Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth;

and Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz;

Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God,

Notwithstanding the sons of Korah died not.
