Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, And increasest thine indignation upon me; Changes and warfare are with me.

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, And try him every moment?

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, And teachest out of thy law;
